No no no! Its actually in the game! I have tried it with five people, we got to Atheon. And he teleports one or no one through. But after like 3 teleports, it goes back to 3 people! My friend who was raiding with me thought that the game recognizes that you are attempting to not die. So it -blam!-s with you! I know right? Pretty -blam!-ed up! But its the ultimate test for something so rewarding. So dont say its broken, overcome the obstacle and defeat what you set to do.

We've fought atheon with 4. Every time 3 people got teleported. On hard mode it glitches alot more than normal.

You say glitches, I say it's more RNG and actually HARD. Gaming industry has been catering to a casual market for so long. If you want to beat the current end game on hard without dying.... They're gonna make it infuriatingly hard. Destiny is a little too hardcore sometimes, but hey, a challenge is always a challenge until it's complete. I've only managed to complete it on normal for these reasons and now all my friends are bored of it and have moved on :(
