So Iron Banner is basically Suros Banner.
90% of people I'm playing against are spamming this gun, so I have to spam my own one to even stand a chance.
It's ridiculous, it's way too long range and overpowered, it needs nerfing.

Howdy, I don't like being killed by the Suros Regime however Shadow Price gets me as often. I agree that someone should look at the Suros at some point and decide that either it is slightly too long range OR the maps might be slightly too short range. Let's not neglect that these weapons are used in an environment and if that environment favours Suros or favours a Shotty that yes it will absolutely be OP within the context it is used and ideally this is fine. Choosing one's load out should be an aspect of each engagement. In that regard though we might need to discuss which maps favour which weapons and are any weapons proportionately disfavoured by all maps in which case we need additional maps so that all tactical loadout choices have an equal opportunity to prove effective. tl;dr: Don't nerf the guns, buff the maps!

25 RepliesHas anyone else done the math and realized that the amount of grinding required to access the boots and gloves makes Iron Banner a horrible time vs reward? Raid can be run by a competent group in under an hour with two chance for gear. To reach the level 3 in iron banner you need to earn about 3600 rep. At 50 rep per win you are looking at about 72 10 minute games as long as you never lose. 720 minutes is 12 hours. Your time can go up or down depending on the skill of you and your team as well as the bounty and Iron Banner wearables. How is a causal player going to earn the gear if the event only lasts one week? You need to put in a good two hours day PER character just to unlock the ability to buy the boots. This event should last longer and/or ranks should not be completely reset in between events.

Due to the factoring-in of attack, they're probably just equipping their only fully-leveled weapons, which are likely their pve load-out.

Yup. Lvl 30s with suros rule the crucible.

It doesn't need to be nerfed, it's an exotic and exotics are nerfed enough as it is. Pretty much all of the legendary guns are just as good if not better. If anything all of the other exotics need to be brought up to scale.

I have suros fully upgraded don't even use it ( i loooooove shingen e or c) I forgot but it's wicked , noobs will use the gun that gets a lot of talk but I prefer others . Iron banner rank 5 like 2 days ago too

I'm ONLY using it because of the stupid Auto Rifle head shot bounty. I'm pretty sure that's one of the reasons people are using it like crazy. I wish they would change up the bounties daily. I prefer using my Hawkmoon WAY more than Suros Regime.

i've come across far more fusion rifles than suros, i could care less about the suros. i fear the pocket infinity and plan c waay more...and i own the pocket, its a force to be reckoned with.

I mostly come top of my team and I don't use a Suros. I'm hardly ever killed by one either, mostly Plan C or Atheons Revenge
