LED is a glorified LCD tv which the picture quality cannot even begin to compare to the amazing picture you can get with a Plasma. Before you jump in with the higher 120 or even 240 hz crap, they still look crappy compared to a plasma and not to mention the gay soap opera affect while watching TV or movies.
If you want to talk about 4k tvs, lets talk about how they are a waste of money and there is hardly any 4k transmissions out there. Computers games can output 4k resolution, but we are talking about console games. ;-)
I use my TV for majority of TV and movies. I bought this panasonic plasma because of the burn in tech. I'd rather watch and play on a TV with great picture quality than on something like LCD\LED that is an inferior cheaper product. The prob is there are people out there buying these crap products making companies more profit. Over the years plasmas are being phased out because there in no profit in them whereas there is a huge profit with LCD/led because of cheap components. plasmas have always been higher rated due to picture quality. BTW....how's that soap opera affect going? Lmao.
Indeed a person with a sharp eye love plasmas for their picture quality. Sadly, most only view TVs on showrooms under harsh light, where LEDs and LCDs (same thing) look falsely better.
Point is though, a HUD transparency option would only help preserve Bungie's fans TVs, it wouldn't hurt anyone.
