Hi Kadziet,
The BOAR error message can occur when there is trouble grabbing new files to download. As the PlayStation Network is conducting scheduled maintenance today, this would explain why you and others will see this error. If you're experiencing strange behavior while playing or accessing Destiny, it is likely due to maintenance.

I have had the same problem. Try to start Destiny but let it idle for about 15min at the title screen(where it says press X to play). After about 15min just press X and it should take you to the store and let you DL the update. This worked for me.

PSN maintenance is finished, error still here, so stop the BULLSHHIT. It's pretty fking lame to copy paste that "grabbing new files" shhit, we already know that from your error support page. STOP treating us like we were KIDZ, we're NOT. In fact, most of us are real customers, that work their ass of to buy a console, a game, a DLC and we expect to be treated with RESPECT, because is our money that pay your useless patches, and while you're giving us stupid answers, we just watch error screens with stupid names and stupid dust excuses. GET REAL. There are lots of options on the market, don't force us to choose something else.

Then fires Boar message, "unable to locate expansion files, download them again". Log in with a newly created PSN account - same behavior. Will not reinstall the whole game, as I see many other people are having same issues after reinstalling. WTF, Bungie??? - BTW, this is Spain here...

I made the fatal error of deleting the game from my PS3 when I started getting the 'files missing' error and Boar code, thinking that if I re- installed the game it might work, WRONG! can't even re-install the game now, it gets as far as downloading the update then all the error messages are back, don't even get a chance to re-install. Even went as far as creating a new account as suggested by Bungie with reference to the Boar code, nice new account - no Destiny - now what? will I be able to recover the game when playstation have finished fiddling about? and why fiddle with your end Bungie when you knew playstation were at it, there was bound to be a rogue spanner to get in the works somewhere along the line.

Maintenance over. Logged in to PSN ok. Installed latest PS3 update. Installed compatibility pack. Updated Destiny to latest version. Started game, still getting boar :-\

psn is working now so re instaled the update & still getting the same BS msg (damaged or missing ) nice job bungie ! you already screwed the game up by taking loads out before release know the stuff your adding doesnt work!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK so I have two playstations, one at home and one at school, that shouldn't have been an issue, only two activated accounts. Uninstall and reinstall didn't do anything either. I've already got a secondary account and that one has the same issue, not creating a third account because they stay in the system until Sony wipes it. I know I'm logged in so that's not a problem. Other games work just fine on my console. I know for a fact that my console is not damaged or (knock on wood) malfunctioning. I'm sure you're trying to figure it out, I figure having all of that info would be more useful than just "IT NO WORK FIX DIS SHIT MAN" like a lot of people do.
