Maybe you haven't observed it yet or you haven't acquired a particular shader with this feature, but the shaders certainly do change the color of individual parts of the armor or at least accent the majority color with a secondary color. If are skeptical about what I am saying, go to destinytracker.com and look at the shader preview. So, I'm aware of what I was asking for and I don't think I'm mistaken. Sure, perhaps for the Titan and Hunter armor, new armor would definitely need to be added. However, for the Warlock at least the live trailer uses a Vanguard Helmet and a rare-quality chest armor. Off the top of my head, the Vanguards default color scheme is silver with blue accents, I'm not sure about the chest armor but I know the default color isn't red. I just need a shader to get that nice gold/red/black combination.
