Game works fine for me. Get better internet. And seriously I was glad for the errors at first, it kept most of the laggers off the game. Since they 'fixed' that those of us how actually know how to troubleshoot our internet connection have had to deal with people who think "My college campus internet is good enough for gaming!"
PS It's your internet connection that's not "fit for purpose"

I have great internet and have still suffered not being able to get into Destiny. Microsoft was refunding digital purchases for awhile because of connection issues. Please do your homework before making yourself look foolish. PS. If you're just trolling, happy trolling sir o7

Edited by Sp33d0fD4rk: 10/22/2014 9:36:47 PMMostly trolling because post like this piss me off. I know people with good internet have issues sometimes however I also know that having connection problems isn't necessarily a server side problem. It could be a problem with a router, modem, your ISP being dickish (FF XIV:ARR had this problem), a host of other problems between the game and the server, or yes it could actually be the server itself. However when some people are FINE and others are having a hard time it's rarely because of server problems it's usually the more unpredictable elements. Like heavy internet traffic through your area, this is a big problem if you live in a densely populated area. Let's take a personal example of mine. I got diablo 3 when it was released. At the time I had access to 2 decent internet connections, one at a house, the other an apartment. The one at a house was a slower connection however diablo 3 was much more playable there then the apartment connection. Why was this? Well the house connection was in a sparsely populated area. Like really sparsely. The apartment? Well it was in an apartment complex obviously so there were a lot of people in a smaller area. Did I still get problems with the Diablo 3 servers at the house? Yes I did but only when everyone else was getting issues. Were the issues I got at the apartment "server issues"? No not really, it was a problem with my internet (even though it was the "faster" connection). Anyway there are a lot of things that can go wrong with any game that utilizes something as unpredictable as the internet. The game has gone rather smoothly for a always online launch. And yes I've had problems too but I figured out what caused them and fixed the problem.

It says my nat type is moderate not strict, yet I get booted from fireteam or tower explain.

You're probably not close to one of the Bungie servers. I am pretty sure I am, as I never get error codes and don't have amazing Internet.

You're probably right

If the game requires specific connection requirements it should state so
