nightfall is not worth your time
Finished the nightfall and got a legendary engram which turned into a blue. Last week i got 7 strange coins. Don't bother with wasting 30-1hr in there. Farming the loot cave is far more profitable.

Last week i did it on both my characters and got nothing but 5 coins and a legendary shotgun. Last time it was just 5 coins on each that was the nexus one. This week i went through it. Took my time which was surprisingly quick... Around 15 minutes and soloed it. Got hard light. Did it on my hunter and got 11 ascendant energies. So this week it was worth it as i now have an awesome AR and i got enough energies to max it out. Its a gamble you take my friend. Soloing it makes it a billion times quicker though and worth it imo

I received 12 ascendant shards for completing the nightfall a couple days ago... Totally worth it.

Edited by LordHighfixxer: 9/29/2014 11:58:25 AMExcept for the Ascendant Light which grants you a bonus to xp/rep earned until reset. That means more Motes and quicker access to Tier 3 rep items. I received 6 Strange Coins on completion, friend received an Exotic Chest Piece and the other guy received a legendary scout rifle.

Only good thing I've gotten out of nightfall is hard light. All 3 weeks on my warlock I've gotten legendary hand cannons and a fusion rifle. When my titan soloed it he got hard light, so I though t "maybe the loot is better if you solo it. So got my hunter to solo it and got a legendary machine gun I don't need.

Took me 10 minutes to complete the other day, and all I got was crappy blues. I'll gladly take the 20% exp / rep boost though!!!

I got an exotic helm, so did my buddy, and my other friend got a legendary fusion rifle. The xp boost is nice for rep for factions.

Are you daft? 10 coins from nightfall, 9 coins from weekly. It took 50 minutes. I'd say it was [b]Definitely[/b] worth my time.....

20-30 minutes and I got 12 shards, one team mate got 11 energy and another got an exotic chest piece for his warlock. You'll just unlucky or they're punishing you for shooting into a cave... lol. Keep shooting the cave, you'll get something good eventually.

Got an Exotic each week and the week long rep/exp buff...plus I enjoy the challenge. Nightfall is always worth it.

Finished nightfall in less than half an hour a teammate and I got exotic chests and the other got a legendary sniper.I think it was pretty worth it

4 RepliesI pulled Suros (I know....) the first week, Crest of Alpha Lupi the second, and this past week received Universal Remote (which I haven't even tested yet). It is certainly worthwhile as my guildmates are pulling equally excellent items from it.
