Using emotes to look around corners in PvP is an exploit.
It seems so wrong that someone can acquire crucial information about what's around corners just by using an emote to gain an unfair advantage. I'm sitting around a corner with a shotgun as a cloaked bladedancer and some warlock starts dancing just so they can see me without being 1HKO'd and then they throw a grenade around the corner because of this. I was forced to retreat after which this fellow rushed me and I shotgunned them down.
This seems a bit odd, considering you shouldn't be dancing in PvP anyway, but the use of this as an exploit to gain info that you shouldn't just seems blatantly overpowered and unskilled.

I want to find this Warlock and shake his hand. He was able to exploit a camper. Good thinking. Sorry man, but you got outplayed on that one.

1 ReplyHahaaa! I actually don't think this should ever be fixed. You've got to admit dude, that's pretty good thinking. I would never have thought to use the dance to check for a corner camper and nor would most other people I think. He outplayed you! Don't forget too, you can see his emote in the text feed. So you know when he's nearby and checking you. If you run out on him while he's dancing he's gonna have a split second where it's gonna be near impossible to shoot as he snaps back into first person cam. So you'll still get him easily.

That warlock was smart, used the game's mechanics to gain an advantage, and overall had much more strategy in his game than invisibility and a shotgun. I say he deserved the kill, even if you claim to have killed him in the end.
