I've never understood how KDR works in general and is mine good, bad, or average (for my warlock). What does a high kdr indicate? What does a low kdr indicate? Is KDR only affected my pvp? I'm not sure about it...

Because you can have 14 kills 7 deaths and end up with a 2 point something ratio rather than a straight 2.0 like it should be. Idk how Destiny works but some games count every 2 assist As a kill. Because for an assist you get half the points of an actual kill so two assist equally a whole kill. Also kills earned from assist only count towards kdr not your actual accumulated kills.
