There's never been a "good" Assassin's Creed plot. Ezio and Edward were fun swashbuckling characters. The actual stories are full of flaws and tend to collapse towards the end.

Oh contraire: I loved ACIV's plot. Sure, it wasn't as focussed on the Assassin's as previous titles, but it gave a good insight into how some members coped with having to integrate their carefree life into one of duty and honour. And also was a really interesting look at how that previous carefree life cost them so much in terms of friends and dreams.
