This is hard for me to talk about, but a few years ago I went camping with my dad and uncle. We were in a heavily wooded area, not far from a road. We had a pick up truck, three tents and a few assorted hunting rifles. During the day we had a good time. My dad let me have my first beer. I remember that taste... We were putting the cans out as targets and were trying to shoot them. I was such a bad shot, but I don't care, it was one of the most fun days I've ever had. Later on, towards sunset we built a fire, and were making dinner. What we'd do is wrap up a potato, some veggies and a steak in foil, and then just toss it in the fire near the edge, and let everything kinda cook together. With a little salt and pepper, it can be really good. We had our dinner, and my dad let me have a second beer while he and my uncle pulled out a bottle of whisky. Eventually we decided to turn in for the night. We wanted to go hiking to a waterfall a few miles in, where we could go cliff diving. I was awoken suddenly by my dad in my tent. He held his hand over my mouth and told me to be quiet. He said something was wrong with my uncle. I nodded, and he uncovered my mouth and pointed. In the darkness I could see the figure of my uncle yelling, and holding one of the rifles. I thought at first he was drunk, but after listening, he sounded sober, but terrified. "WHY WON'T YOU LEAVE ME ALONE! YOU CAN'T GET MY FAMILY TOO! YOU TOOK ME ONCE, YOU AIN'T TAKING ME AGAIN!" At that last one he fell to his knees, put the barrel of the rifle under his chin. My heart froze. I thought that this was a nightmare, that none of this could be real. Time took on that spongy slow feeling you get in horror movies as the killer is walking slowly behind his victim, while she is running full sprint, yet he still catches up. I heard him say "no...not again" when a bright light came on right above him. It was a hard edged light, like a LED. It seemed to be utterly motionless above us. My uncle was now clear, and we could see that he was sweating, and seemingly pushing against restraints. Suddenly the light narrowed so it just lit his face... and he was yanked upwards. It looked like something had grabbed his leg, and pulled him up the way a child would a toy. The light came on again. It moved around our campsite in a clear search pattern. My dad pressed me to the ground, again, holding my mouth closed. He whispered that as soon as it moved away, run to the truck. He said that I would have to drive, and he would have a rifle to shoot if needed. I have never been so scared. The light shut off. We broke to the truck. The light snapped on as soon as we moved, and whatever grabbed my uncle, grabbed my dad too. He screamed TYYYLLLLER! as he was pulled up into the light. I dove in the truck, and swear that I felt something brush my shoe as I dove in and slammed the door behind me. The engine roared on. I pressed the gas and sped to the road and to our home. About half way the truck sputtered out of gas, though there was a payphone near by. I called a cab and waited..nervously looking to the sky. I saw the headlights in the distance as the cab pulled up. The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rare But I thought 'Nah, forget it' - 'Yo, homes to Bel Air' I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8. And I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo homes smell ya later.' I looked at my kingdom, I was finally there. To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air
