Give me some advice on how to cope with being long-distance with my gf of 8 months over Summer, from June-September while we're both back at home until University starts up again.
We've spent nearly every day of the entire time we've been together with each other so I don't even know how we'll cope, we go even a few days without seeing each other and it's tough.
Cheers dawg.

Good luck with the break up

We'll see dude. It's not like we'll go 3 months without seeing each other, we don't live so close but close enough that we'll be able to see each other at least every few weeks. Depends on how much we're both working.

It's only three months and you'll see each other every few weeks? and you need to "cope"? When you said GF did you mean BF?

We see each other pretty much every day right now mate, I spend more time with her than anyone. I'll miss her company, the constant sex; longest we've gone without seeing each other since we met is a week. I'll cope, it's just going to be weird.

Ah, every few weeks isnt bad, a separation, especially during college will kill a relationship, at your age people can change in a matter of months.

Eh she's 21 dude and going into post-grad studies, not a silly 18 year old fresher. I think we'll be okay, wouldn't be the end of the world if we didn't though. Like I said I'm in Uni, there's a veritable platter of girls out there.

Just plan two trips together to go out for a weekend or camp, youll be good. But still, even 21 is still what i described.

How far away are you two going to be?
