Well I for one would love to see a Metroid(original) remake or a reasonable facsimile of it. Or Castlevania SOTN. Both of those games had more to discover than most games today. Maybe it's nostalgia talking though.

That would be sweet. I love the exploration and miss the feeling of there is something around the corner that opens up the game in a new way. Especially true of SOTN. If you had the wrong item equipped you missed about 50% of the game.
