Lol man chill out. Just sit in Harmony. I found what you had to say enjoyable as you were enjoyed by that nugget of discovery. That is what Destiny is about when you share it with others.(Spent 4 years in northern japan. Father 22 years in the Air Force)

We were stationed in Misawa Airbase. Me My sisters and myself. Yep 4 years and we had a DOD school on the base well two of them but one high school. JASDAF Army and Air Force with all four branches of the US military. 89-93 were good years as i went to high school and learned a great deal about myself and another culture. I miss the Ramen shops and good food. Cherry blossom festival was awesome as well every year. i miss the shishkabobs on the street and the venders. Smells and the people. Even got to visit a restored Samurai Castle. Yep military brat and those experiences shaped me into an open minded individual.

It is a pretty neat place. Well except the Tsunami but i was not around for that. We had some good teachers on the base one of them taught Japanese to american students. I have to say that the only shows i could watch that did not need language were sumo wrestling.(I did happen to see one who came to the base burger king) Samurai Epic Dramas, Funny shows with physical comedy. Like one i remember that a guy had an eye on his thumb. i did see dragon ball but could not understand it until i came to america. We had the AFN(Armed Forces Network.) I do not really speak Japanese(Its a long story and i know a few phrases)

I would love to learn more Japanese. I love the culture people and food. That was a sample of the story's i have to tell. Its funny when i fill out a job application as i graduated from Edgren High School right on the base. Another town i forgot what it was called in the US but sits right across misawa across the ocean and reunions are held there. My graduating class was 64 people. Ah up in he mountains. Solid ground. Oh i lived in Alaska also and Phoenix Arizona. Thats military life they send the personel to places. We happen to get a place my dad could take us to. I even got to see Korea and Stayed at Young Sung Army base. They have a Hotel on the base. Okinawa was amazing as we waiting for space available for a week. Ah memories. Oh i been thinking of making a story in off topic of a Samurai in a Fantasy epic in a world i created. I have been enthralled with the Code of Bushido not to mention Animation or Manga from Japan or America. Oh i love Robotech and G-Force Batman Pinky and the Brain. Dexters Lab. Each one has a different story and flavor not to mention cool artwork.

  • I love it here. However I need to come back and pay a visit to the family soon in the states. I like the culture because they're like 10 years ahead of us in tech. Some of the things they have here are incredible. Also one really bad problem here is the gangs. Wish I could help fight agains them.

We are ahead of them in some ways such as clothing and music. I find the code of honor and way of doing things in Japan very respectable. Honor is an important thing as is being a master of ones craft. Even the lowest of workers has more education than the average american student. I did find common ground with Godzilla. We had locals on the base when i got out of high school i met that took us around to the local Ramen shops. Its amazing the Ramen and Pot stickers. I miss the culture there. Here it is very sad state of affairs that seems to be about money and rich people trying to swindle the little guy. Jobs are harder to get and every one is arguing about the ship sinking and not preventing the leaks. Some of them have come around. I learned so much when i left yet Ninjas Godzilla or Samurai. I have yet to meet some one in Japan who did not like Godzillia as much as i do. Japaneese people are quite interesting. Nice also. Yes well the states are no better. If i could get a fancy job doing something and go back i would. Not much call for security guards with no language skills.
