May just be me (I havent actually read the comments ITT), but I use adblock for everything except youtube. The youtubers I watch make some sort of money off of the ads (right?), so I wont be taking that away from them.

it can be disabled on specific channels, if you can write out the exception properly. there is an extension for helping with ABP rule writing since the default one requires some manual HTML/CSS programmer writing to write rules.

The only videos I watch come from the handful of youtubers I am subsribed to, so there isnt much point to disable it just for theirs, in my case.

I don't expect money from the videos I post to YouTube.
