EDIT: I know next to nothing about ESO, so I wasn't aware that Maormer were even a real Elven race. The picture he used looked/looks to me like some sort of Skyrim Mod pack character.

The Sea Elves are in the lore, though. If its canon, it's relevant.

And I've played Oblivion and Skyrim and can't remember ever hearing of them. It's not like their addition would mean anything to me personally. And that's all this is, preference. And if decide to pursue this further, go ask OP to make a new thread, or make it yourself.
