I don't know how I feel about it.
ME3 was okay, but then the ending was just shit. So I'm kind of on the fence about it.

ME3 is my ending other than the DLCs and the crap ending. The only good DLC was the Citadel, the other two were absolute shit and felt like most of DA: Orgins crap(The expansions were pretty good).
-
and felt like most of DA: Orgins crap
lolwat? Dragon Age: Origins is a great game. Dragon Age 2 is shit.
-
Origins was an okay game, nothing special, very overrated. It's a solid game with a mediocre story and horrible gameplay. Wasn't talking about the actual game though, but most of it's DLC. DA2 is indeed shit, played through twice with male and female characters for sole purpose of story in DAI.
-
and horrible gameplay
Yeah, no. The gameplay was fine for an RPG. It worked, and was less accessible to the casual shitheads. DA2 had shitty combat. It's one of the reasons why it's hated by fans. The only reason I'll beat DA2 is because of the story options for Inquisition. Nothing more and nothing less.
-
I couldn't beat Dragon Age Origins cause of its horrible combat, haven't beat DA2, but the combat is far surperior and pretty solid.
I couldn't beat Dragon Age Origins cause of its horrible combat
Yeah, no. That's just because you're bad at things that aren't run in and just smash buttons. It actually needed to engage your brain to play it and make attacks that would be more effective based on the enemy.
haven't beat DA2, but the combat is far surperior and pretty solid.
No. The combat in DA2 is one of the things people hated among other things. How would you have felt if the fighting system in ME2 was completely changed form how it was in ME1? You'd be pretty pissed. That's how pretty much every DA:O fan felt.

What? I thought the sword play was horrible....you couldn't move at all while attacking and there's a stupid auto attack thing that's always on.

Edited by BannedLemön: 1/2/2014 5:25:57 AMYeah, not every RPG has to be like lolSkyrim. The combat worked fine, and made it less accessible to the casual shitheads.
and there's a stupid auto attack thing that's always on.
I fail to see why this is a problem. I wouldn't expect someone like you to be ab;e to tell good mechanics apart from bad ones though. You think ME has the best weapon mechanics out of the series after all.

Mount and Blade combat isn't like Skyrim.
-
Oh look, you took out one thing from my post and took it literally. Good job on continuously looking like an idiot

Origins has amazing combat.
-
I remember it being terrible. How is it amazing?

I just plain hate the combat in the entire series. I like accessibility, not button mashing and settig tactics that don't really do anything. DA2 was definitely a step down. "lolskyrim' was definitely superior even if it was boring. We should end this sub-thread. This is nothing but opinion. One last thing though...There is nothing wrong with casual players. Making a game accessible but staying true to its roots is possible. Almost evey DA player just button mashes, anyway.
