The scale for online vs offline credits in Halo Reach are vastly different. This was done by design.
Bungie should have come up with a patch to fix this problem, by now.
The first step in solving a problem is recognizing that there is one. Which in this particular case, there isn't one.

But again, I reiterate, I DON'T play online. I only have the xb live account so that I can download necessary system and game updates.

Edited by Spawn: 12/28/2013 1:00:11 PMThat's fine, but doesn't change the outcome. If you play offline, you get 50 credits maximum a game. Period. If you're playing online (like you mentioned your gf doing), you get a different one. That's all there is to it.

Edited by burritosenior: 12/28/2013 5:47:49 AM... So you connect to Xbox Live to download the updates and don't play any games? ... That constitutes connecting to Xbox Live. That's all you have to do for your profile to be considered an online profile. You connected to Xbox Live. Again, this is by design. :/ You could always make another account offline if it means that much to you.

Would you do that?

No sir. I can't say it would bother me enough to make me want to do that. But if you're really being pestered by your girlfriend that much that it bugs you, for you nobody can say it wouldn't be worth it. It's an individual basis thing, you know?
