You earn credits much faster offline than you do online due to the fact that you cannot play MM, which is the quickest way to get credits. When you have an offline profile, you gain a boosted number of credits to level you up faster so you can still unlock stuff. When you connect your profile to Xbox Live and play online, your credits are reduced to what you would have earned in those campaign/custom games had you been connected all along (i.e. you'll go from like a General to a Lieutenant). You also will earn the actual, online rate for credits from that point on since you've showed you can connect your profile to XBL. This is to stop people from boosting credits offline, then connecting online to reap the benefits. This is by design, and not a glitch or bug. That is why you will never see a 'fix' for this 'problem.'

 • But as I explained, I don't play online. I don't even have access to play online as I don't pay for XBL so as far as I am concerned, it IS a bug.

You don't need to pay for XBL to connect to Xbox Live. The simple act of connecting is enough. That's not a bug. It's by design.

 • You are arguing for the sake of arguing now. Thank you for your input. The simple fact is, you are not helping anything.
You are arguing for the sake of arguing now.
... No. No I am not. I was trying to help you understand the situation.
The simple fact is, you are not helping anything.
Just because you don't want to hear the facts doesn't mean they will change. I was very helpful and honest with you, so please try to hold in the passive aggressiveness. Because you're not going to be getting any other answer or any more detail from any other post than you got from me.

 • Burrito, you're right. If he doesn't want to listen, let him rot.
