Well, the 750w PSU sounds good, they're all essentially the same (just make sure it's modular). The temps and noise of PSUs are usually negligible at that price range. Also, the 780 shouldn't really get bottlenecked by anything on the list, although the OC'd processor might become a power issue (a 780 AND an OC might stress your system).

  • Hmm, it hasn't seem to have been a problem so far.. 4.0GHz for the i5 2500K isn't a big OC(as far as I know/can tell) but if you think it still may stress the 750W PSU with the 780 then I may get a 800 or 850W PSU.. Though that does seem a bit overkill for the other components in my system.. Any particular brand(s) I should look into? Thanks for the heads up.

  • I have a corsair PSU, runs nice and cool (although I do admit I'm pushing it with a 600 watt using a 770 and a 4670K)
