This is one of the better stories I've read on this forum. I have no issues with your writing at all. but can I make a suggestion? since there is a king in old-Russia, shouldn't he be the Czar? just saying.

I did however change "King" to "Emperor," to fit with my gaming title.

If the Old Russia in Destiny is that of our modern day Russia, and the people are Russian, then yeah it would be. However, I'm not sure it is. It could be like "New Mexico" in the US being nothing like Mexico, or "New York" being nothing like the English York. I'm not really sure.
