I have a story from the first time me and my corp went into lowsec.
We were in a cruiser fleet of about 5 people, things were doing pretty well, we destroyed a couple people and got some nice bounty rewards of off some rats. Then we made a fatal desicion.
We jumped through a stargate, only to find a fleet of battleships and I think it was either a carrier or a supercarrier. Our leader nearly had a heatattack, lol
As we tried to warp out, I said "Well it was nice knowing you guys"

I had a similar experience once, only we had a fleet of 150 guys and we warped on top of a bunch of battleships with a few dreadnaughts and carriers thrown in. I flew in a griffin for that fleet and managed to jam out a few of their logi and one of the dreadnaughts. We ended up winning the fight. Included a youtube video from the other sides point of view.
