American Football was never "manly"; not with all that protective gear they wear. They should look into sports like Rugby League and Rugby Union.

Ill give rugby the one up because it is tougher without the gear. However if NFL players didn't have gear people would be dead. Football athletes are faster, bigger, stronger than rugby athletes. Although when I watched Britain play a whole ago there were a few guys who could make it into a D1 college. Football players need the gear. And even then the gear sometimes does nothing.
