Yea a target "M" rating is set, still doesn't mean it will get that. To be honest halo and other games IMO didn't deserve a M rating when compared to games like GTA and the sort.

They can change that for the 2DS version

I don't know if you ever tried, but making a Nintendo game is about 10x harder than coding any other way. There is a lot of syntax that normally the code does not have to go through. Besides, the whole 2 screen thing would throw it off, along with it being an online game.
