Wonder what Robt rides.
Something that runs on gasoline! The horror, the horror.

Hehe. At least he gets 65mpg on it. ;-) Now if Zero has a cruiser -- with comparable storage options like his Burgman -- he may be riding that instead. :) As it is, the Brutus is the only EV MC that comes close. And if we can afford that, I'd rather have a Tesla S! :) +m

Edited by HarangUtan: 8/2/2013 9:40:03 PMI'd rather have the S as well, but let's hold off and see if the X makes it to production.

Edited by HarangUtan: 7/26/2013 4:07:47 AMALSO: if Zero made a cruiser, it wouldn't necessarily need to follow the Burgman pattern. Reduced operating costs and zero emissions make up for a lot.

It would be cool if you could repurpose the Givi top box though.... Hey, how come your tag is just 7 years old? +m

Edited by Recon Number 54: 7/26/2013 7:28:11 PMI saw the name and didn't make the connection! What the hell sort of fan/stalker am I? And I won't mention it and see just how many PM's are sent asking "so WHO is that?" PS: I was considering a Silver Wing myself, but if there are electrics on the horizon, I may change that. Though the appeal of long, dual (his & hers) scooter road trips is part of the reason/appeal. So to go electric would not only require a cruiser format but an infrastructure of recharge points and >7 hour run times.

I like that he used his actual likeness as his Avatar. ;-) +m

It is a nice touch. And on topic of 2-wheeled rides, I think that I have found something that has replaced the Honda Silverwing as my maxi-of-choice. BMW's entry into the market (c 650 GT) looks really attractive and has the road-trip range that I am not (yet) seeing from electrics. I'd be curious if Robt or you ever get a chance to test ride one and see how it compares to his Burgman.

I sat on one at the International Motorcycle Show last year, but I haven't had a chance to ride one yet. So no real comparison yet.
