Would i be able to Major in 2 fields and minor in 1?

at the same time? I know most of the flud wont know but it wont hurt to ask. Also, for the vast majority of you who are still in high school, are you planning to go to college right after high school? and if so, what are you going to major in?

  • I believe New Radical is doing the same. I think he said he was dual majoring in Philosophy and Biology/Ecology and minoring in Gender Studies. Or something like that. So ask him.

    • Depends on a few things: 1) Which majors and minors you want; 2) How much time you're willing to spend working (and you should overestimate how much time you think you'll need, just to be safe); and 3) how long you want to take to graduate, which depends on both your personal preference and your budget.

    • 1. Depends on the school. 2. Going into engineering. I'm not taking a year off, but it doesn't matter if you do.

    • You may go completely insane from stress and spend six years in school, but yes, you could.

    • That depends on what the Majors and Minors are.

    • When I go to college in a year I'm going to major in chemical engineering. Not sure what I'll minor in, possibly neuroscience or biology

Yes you can, but it isn't advised in most cases since just majoring in one field is a lot of hard work. The only time it wouldn't really be an issue is if both majors have similar requirements. Also it would depend on your college I would imagine you should ask you adviser not us.
