I don't think Gamerscore means anything, but I try to complete the game as thoroughly as possible too. I agree with you (to some extent) that Gamerscore can help players enjoy the game thoroughly.
My Gamerscore is 14765, the reason it is up to that number is because I love to get all the achievements to my favorite/more well liked games.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying is the point of gamerscore is so that players enjoy and try out every aspect of a game. But since people don't go for it as much, they miss out alot in games.

Well, they wouldn't need gamerscore in order to do that, however I agree with you that it does help.
