I have a bunch of the treasuries, which I've been reading since I was probably six years old. The last strip of the treasury "It's A Magical World" was one of my favorites. "It's a magical world, Hobbes ol' buddy. Let's go exploring!" It just seemed so... perfect.
Then one day, on a whim, I googled the last Calvin and Hobbes strip ever published. I can't look at that strip the same way anymore. It was such a beautiful end.

Oh wow, I just posted a reply to Recon mentioning that same strip... -___- I thought that /was/ the last strip? I've got lots of the treasuries too. In one form or another, all of the strips. The feels in this thread, man...

That's what I meant, I had no idea until I searched for the last strip that that WAS the last strip. It's much more meaningful now.
