I honestly hope that the plot of Destiny is not so religiously based. It would turn off a [i]lot[/i] of potential fans.
It may be possible that the SS worship the Traveler as a god, or [i]the[/i] God... I, of course, can't say for certain. They definitely wouldn't make one faction so powerful as to "be the protectors of God." :P That's just silliness. What about all the other factions? What is their importance?
Balance is the key to any reality, and your theory has none. Show me balance, and I would be more inclined to listen.
