The first one was awful and Thor is as 2D as characters get, so not really interested in this.

Agreed. Compared to Captain America it lagged behind considerably. Never understood the praise it got.

I really liked Captain America even though it felt like it was just to get a backstory in before the Avengers came out, but I wonder how they're going to do a sequel now that he's in the present.

Personally I thought Captain was the worst of all the marvel cinematic universe films so far.
