You know for a fact that the Hulk will win, try making a vs thread which is a bit more, even.
Like Superman Vs Thor :P
English
-
We discussed this, and Thor would win because God Blast and magic. (Even though Superman can and has resisted magic in the past.)
-
Because Thor will nuke the universe to kill a man
-
Because morals are off in VS threads unless stated otherwise.

Edited by Banned Man 3000: 4/7/2013 2:22:59 PMThe God Blast takes a few seconds to charge. Given that Superman's reaction time is in the nano seconds (source) that few seconds is an opening which is all Superman needs
-
An opening for what? Superman doesn't really have anything that can harm Thor in those few seconds. A supernova knocked Superman out, Thor has tanked quite a few without much bother.
-
Infinite mass punch. Oh, and he took a blast equal to 15 supernovas to the face without being hurt.
-
An IMP's force is roughly equivalent to a supernova. Which doesn't really phase Thor. One could make the argument that was hyperbole. 15 supernova's would've destroyed the solar system. It barely scratched the Moon.
-
But it wasn't a release of energy, it was a concentrated force on superman. And is that so? Because basic physcis teaches F=MA Force = Mass x acceleration. Infinite mass x How many times FTL = infinite
-
Again, you can't rule out hyperbole. Besides, it came from an uneducated scientific illiterate henchman. Chances are he was trying to sound more powerful than he seemed. The Death Battle team stated it was 10 Octillion megatons which is the equivalent of a supernova, so I'll take their words over yours.
-
Why, because it doesn't suit your position?
-
No because it's stupid to willingly trust the words of a single man who isn't exactly smart or scientifically literate, and could very well be spouting hyperbole.
-
How is pointing out very, very basic science spouting hyperbole?
-
Edited by Madman Mordo: 4/7/2013 3:26:39 PMExcept it's not basic science, he's quite clearly exaggerating his power. You can't just go along with everything every character says about their powers. Especially if they're not exactly versed in science, or egotistical. Besides, 15 supernovae isn't exactly equivalent to a God Blast.
-
I said it's basic science, the F=MA thing
-
If Death Battle says it's 10 octillion megatons, then it's 10 octillion megatons. Besides, you're formula is flawed. "Infinite mass x How many times FTL = infinite". Well of course it's infinite. You stated the mass was infinite in the first place.
-
Because death battle are spot on right
-
They've had months to prepare and analyse both characters over a period of several months with numerous people and a company (Screwattack) backing them up. You're one guy over the internet. It's not difficult to believe why I think their word holds more water over yours.
-
Well if you don't accept "F=MA" then you're clearly not educated
-
Edited by Madman Mordo: 4/7/2013 3:29:32 PMI've accepted that, but again your formula is flawed. DB probably took it into account as well.
-
how is it flawed? The amount of mass multiplied by the speed equals the force. Infinite multiplied by anything gives the force infinite
-
Edited by Madman Mordo: 4/7/2013 3:40:34 PMExcept Superman's mass is not infinite. Where are you getting infinite from anyway?
-
Vibrate his molecules above light speed, infinite mass. More physics
-
Then he'd just phase through the object he was hitting. Look just accept it Fatman, Superman isn't winning. End of.

I suppose if the Supercarrier sent a distress signal to High Charity to send backup it might even it up more. Just a tad though.
