Intelligence is relative to the situation at hand.
I'm in my Junior year of Nuclear Engineering. I know more about the thermodynamic properties of your car's engine than your mechanic will ever know. You set us both up to fix an engine though, and I'd basically be worthless.
Most people are "smart" about something. Whether that something is "worth" being smart about is a different question.
