Anybody who knows anything knows that Kai is better to watch.
In whole, the best seasons of DBZ to watch would be the Namek ones, where they fight there against the Ginyu squad and Freiza. Dragonball GT is bad as hell. Goku has an annoying niece or whatever.
I know everything there is to know about Dragonball Z.

Most of the show after that just becomes who has the highest power. This dude will get beaten, he'll power up, other dude gets beaten, and so forth. The entire show becomes that for the most part, powering up. Honestly, I didn't like GT all that much. Character strength just got ridiculous (SS4).

I hate people that say the whole show is just powering up... But this is Bnet so I can't say that because I <3 the community. However you are still mistaken.

What do you call it, then? Compare DBZ to Naruto Shippuden, and you can clearly see the differences as far as that goes. Goku powers up into SS4, Baby's punches start to tickle. The fight scenes get really predictable and unenjoyable.
