I would say ODST and Reach would have been both good movies if they were made correctly. Notice the correctly because movies that branch from games tend to suck. Always suck. Directors always think they know what they are doing but they don't. They always piss off the fanbase a lot. Let us take for example Resident Evil movies and the Doom movie. No doubt anyone who has played the games since the first one would see them cringe worthy. I would say Doom was closer to getting it right than the Resident Evil movies except the first Resident Evil movie was actually a bit above decent then they ruined it with the second one.
