Probably extremely unlikely, but couldn't China aid the US instead in exchange for retaining the same(or possibly greater) share of oil they would normally import from Iran if Iran tries to force them into war with the US?

Contrary to popular belief, the US doesn't steal oil from the countries it occupies and even if they did, they wouldn't then openly sell it to China.

When did I ever say that the US did? Nothing in my post indicates that the US would be stealing the oil. Just that during negotiations or whatever when the whole thing is over China gets to at least retain their ability to import the oil they did before instead of having to contend with the US over whether or not they're allowed to continue importing it when a new regime/administration/grand poobah/etc. is put into power.

I guess that could work, but China would still need to find somebody willing to import them oil, given such a conflict. Also, no need to get butt hurt over internet misinterpretation; that happens all the time.
