Cross Save
Hi all, I bought a new PC and logged into steam to play Destiny. I been playing from Xbox. I might've bought the game from a PC long ago I'm not too sure. Either way I can't seem to link my Destiny 2 account to Steam. I don't know if it linking to some other steam, but when I click to play the game on steam it basically created a new account and I can't play my original account no matter what I do...

You do not have a separate Destiny 2 account per se. Looking at what you've got now, you've got an XBox account linked to a Steam account, Cross Save is set up with Steam as the Active Account. You have about 100 hours on this Steam account with gameplay from early 2023 to late 2025. So that sounds like your old data. There is no data attached to the XBox account, though you may have been playing these Steam characters on XBox, through Cross Save. What do you mean by it creating a new account? If you logged into the game on the same Steam account you are posting on here with now, did you not see the same two characters when you launched the game?
