I got banned on Destiny 2. I don’t know what for I’m on Xbox. I played the server slay. I’m perfectly fine and then when I hopped on D2, it says my account‘s been banned now I just have a question for anybody if my account is Ben on Destiny 2? How come I can still view my characters sign in onto the bungee.net and still be able to play destiny one and play the marathon server slam. Also, am I able to play marathon tomorrow with the same Xbox account that’s connected to D2 since I did play the Service slam on that account also I just wanna know before I pre-order the game

1 ReplyHi there, Thanks for reaching out. If you your account has incurred a ban, then the way to contact our Security team about it is through the Appeal Ban or Restriction Contact Form. If you have already submitted a ticket, you have done all you can, and will need to wait for a response. Ban appeals are not conducted on the forums.

2 RepliesWhat does being on console have to do with anything? People can do nefarious acts even when on console. Hopefully those pixel rewards were worth it.

You can appeal it using this form if you feel it shouldn't have been issued. You will not be told why you were banned and they do not guarantee any responses. In most cases you will not get one unless they have accepted the appeal or they need more information.
How come I can still view my characters sign in onto the bungee.net and still be able to play destiny one and play the marathon server slam.
A Destiny ban doesn't wipe your characters/gear etc because there's no point in doing so when they can just cut off you signing in, and there is always the chance of an unban and they would need to setup a way to restore everything from backups. Destiny 1 bans aren't carried over to Destiny 2 and Destiny 2 bans aren't carried over to Destiny 1. Marathons policy for how bans from other game titles will be handled hasn't been posted yet, but if its the same as Destiny then they won't carry bans from either D1 or D2 over to it but you can be banned at a lower threshold than others. You'll ultimately find out at Marathons launch whether or not it has been carried over, at which point you would request a refund.
