So what is the problem and why?

I’d argue meta is the biggest issue imo, I’d rather have fun with a meta similar to season of arrivals over what we have now. Idk why people want better rewards first, it makes it feel like a punishment trying to play PvP for decent rewards.

PvP is really not in the best state right now. Matchmaking sucks, team balancing sucks, rewards suck, cheaters are very much more existent. But some people are exaggerating, especially with the cheaters saying they’re facing one every single game lol.

I am stuck between balance and maps. There are a couple outliers for me rn like fusions and sidearms and invis hunters but if I HAD to pick just 1 I feel like I’d want all the old vaulted maps back all the old gems back bad or not

for me the #1 thing is that sometimes (and that may mean as high as 90% of the time) I can't play the PVP... can't stay alive to even tell you whats wrong (cheat, lag, balance of the lobby, cracked something or other[ability, exotic, armor..etc]) ... it seems like folks are moving way faster.. in stacks.. hunting.. it could look like cheating and it can be anything... and you couple that with join-in-progress near mercy everyone popping supers... its horrific. ..this is mostly for me in Control... Comp seems the cleanest for me these past couple months (except some nothing manacles users)... and Trials is really RNG as I only buy the left ticket (non-lighthouse)... as I would like to deserve by feeling good and confident about my play to make a lighthouse run. ...but peak fun in D2 PVP even Destiny as a whole for me (every activity feeding it)... thats Control. 6s is a blast to play when its fun and balanced... you can use any weapons any power level (when balanced) and you could see some success (as you frame-it yourself). 6s when balanced and fixed is the cheapest investment... it needs that balance... maps... slight nuance in meta shifts... and I would stay in those lists for hours on the weekend... but we are FARRRR from those days... ...my belief is its not on the player to define you the exact problem... just to relay the pain and try to describe it best... then as a concerned company you go in investigate and fix... So we complain about PVP because we love or loved it at a time.. it is just great fun... scratches an itch that no other PVP does in the same way with the great movement and gunfeel and types when that is going well... I'll probably still log in this weekend try control to warmup for trials/comp and be absolutely disgusted and leave.. I would pay... I think many of us would but its too late we need population to help make it a nice balance...
