A very sad day.. new all time low on steam
Today was the day that we set a new record :( …. It’s such a shame…. Loved this game…. I hope the desire to revive it is still there from bungie… would that take a massive slice of over delivery and lots of original fresh content?? Sigh… sad thing is a few of us saw this coming from the moment the portal was revealed…

7 RepliesSame thing happened when they removed levelling in lightfall, it revealed something we always knew but they clearly didn't - that most people playing crucible & gambit & to a lesser extent strikes, were there for levelling purposes & nothing else. PvP lost 65% of its daily users, 350k down to 125k Gambit lost 65% of its daily players, 200k down to 65k Strikes I forget, but it was like 40% down. These numbers never recovered. Portal pushed these to PvP 50k, gambit 2k, & strikes idk bcoz it's now just tracked as portal pve but there's actually a lot people running heroic strikes in D1 than legacy strikes in D2.

2 RepliesSame activities with same weapon/armor rewards every week, most not even with matchmaking, once you've hit 550 there is very little reason to play. I logon to check after Tuesday and XUR resets and whilst on maybe play a few crucible matches, and usually some more crucible at the weekend when there are more players around. I used to play pretty much every day for long sessions but most of the time now I can't be bothered to fire it up.

8 RepliesI think I saw it down to almost 4k in my region not too long ago. Sure, it's early morning here, but last night, when checking during peak hours, it was only like 14k. That's such a red flag.

10 RepliesThey never shoulda had a steam chart to begin with. Game would been in a much better state if PC didn't get slapped on to it.. Funny.. you say PvP is the "side mode".. but PC is very much the "side mode", that never shoulda existed.
