It's the currency for upgrading new gear past the soft cap. Escalating costs depending on how many levels the item is being raised.

I can understand the escalation cost. The question is how high it hits, because that's gonna destroy the economy if it's one per level.

Raising something from 20 to 21 is only a few. Raing something from 10 to 400 is thousands.

That's ridiculous. It should only be 1 per power level tops.

Yea, but you get a ton from dismantling gear, it's not like upgrade modules. I'm LL350 and I have 100k of them.

Yea, when I first started I really thought it was going to be an issue. Turns out, for me at least it's been fine. I have heard it gets more expensive at the +400 range, but I'm not there yet so I don't know. One tip, the ones that are in the pass, I'd leave them there for the next time we get reset back to 200. Think they'll be more useful then.
