There was a time (maybe still around) a bug occurred & granted the Gm triumph on a normal run. You have to actually run on GM level to get it.

The thing is, I ran it with clan mates, and they got the catalyst.

Your game history shows 0 clears & only 1 attempt of 3-4 minutes. They ran it w/o you to get it.
