Having it consume your class ability would instead conflict with bastion as an aspect and would also not make sense in regard to the damaging blast part of the aspect. Instead you have synergy with offensive bulwark, no clashing with bastion and offensive capabilities comparable to a grenade. The last buff to it made it extremely good. You can spam the thing.
