What is “entry into legit sanctioned competitive games”. Did you drink some strange juice and make that up?

Games that are sponsored have rules and regulations.. Players are globally ranked and considered "Pro" players.. The get paid by sponsors etc.. Destiny has never entered the real PVP arena.. This PVP sandbox is vanilla at best.. Its fun, yes. I have also spent some time playing, mostly iron banner.. I actually like it, and a few trials when they gave engrams for completing matches. I just think destiny'l has allowed a passive gane mode to destroy the grinder mode and focus of the game, by their own admission, PVE is the focus.. PVP was and is secondary

So you haven't even touched the competitive game mode yet? Your basing this strictly on a could trials matches and iron banana?

No.. Im speaking facts. Trials.. Is there a professional tournament? Prizes? Sponsorship? Vanilla PVP.. Same Question.. No. You can call a game mode whatever you want but that doesn't make it true.

Trials isn't the competitive game mode. Nor does a game have to have sanctioned, sponsored event to be competitive. I would say the finals is competitive but it doesn't have a sanctioned event with pro teams or sponsors.
