How are you gonna not guarantee an adept drop on Master Court or Nether????
this may be more of a complaint, but when you complete a GM Nightfall at a PLATINUM level, you get a guaranteed adept weapon. Why is it that Bungie has inexplicably set it to where we are NOT guaranteed an adept drop upon a completion of Master CoB or Nether with a plat score!!?? It just seems idiotic that I'm going out of my way to get a team to do Court to just get 2 dinky poorly rolled NORMAL version Heretical weapons. IDK guys I really think they should change it. I just did 9 runs and didn't get a single adept...

1 ReplyYou need to stand back a bit and think about what you are looking for, are they necessary? Weight gate or not. Some of the seasonal weapons are fun but by no means great. You can shade them and adept version gives minimum advantage. And the vault space is limited!!! Hard to be completionist as well. Also when frontier drops, they introduce weapon tiers and that will impact mini-maxers and collectors greatly due to limited vault space. Grind for the rest of this episode will be at the highest for obvious reason, preparing for frontier. Save the energy for last few weeks when drop rate might be better before frontier.

People here can call me entitled all they want, but that’s how games in the past worked. Bungie is so desperate to keep players addicted they would rather you grind for a chance at the best loot instead of actually rewarding players.and they wonder why D2 is known as the stingiest loot shooter.

2 RepliesJust got in a glitched game where the timer didn't run out on expert Was running it solo, so it was hell running it with the max challengers. But after I finished, did not get a single adept weapons at all. Was even worse with the death singers with adapt healing shields.

1 ReplyWelcome to my life. Had a master run last night, 13 challengers defeated. Did 20.9 million damage because my fireteam finder teammates had no hands and didn’t even get an adept drop.

LMAO I just did a solo run and just fought 2 bosses and got a adept 3 times back to back I personally think just by doing expert nothing but adepts should drop not the normal drops

I've had more luck just doing it solo and stand afk for 10 minutes and kill 1 boss. Got 4 adepts and a shiney yesterday.

I've done a bunch of flawless platinum clears and I still haven't received a single adept item. I gave up, what's the point?

I swear this game is the stingiest with loot of any loot game I’ve played. They even walk back QoL in the name of “the chase.” The time from WQ through TFS showed me how much more fun this game is when it leans more into being a build crafter than an RNG loot chaser. This lean back into more hard RNG has put me off from getting Apollo at launch. Maybe I’ll get the Frontiers year of content later in its cycle when it’s on sale but for them to give us something great(crafting) and the just take it away like that just left a bad taste in my mouth.

And while we're on the topic of Adepts, never use this puke green color scheme on them again. It's been used on every Adept for this year and every one has been ugly to look at. These Seasonal Weapons, Trials Weapons, GM Weapons, even the Weapons from Salvation's Edge all have it. It's visually unappealing and makes it look lazy that they all share the same color scheme.
