Sounds like an actual skill issue.
Have you ever thought that simple is good?
Not every new activity needs to be this complex mind blessing experience that really throws the community for a loop; and if it did I bet 1,000,000 glimmer you'd be here complaining about that too.

Ah yes the mandatory "Skill issue" comment that you see on every negative post. It couldn't simply be because of the things i listed above, no no. It is all down to my skill or lack of skills i should say. The same skills that took me through flawless seasonal activities, exotic missions, raids and dungeons. But i guess those skills don't matter here in this simple seasonal activity. I do indeed only dislike this activity due to its high skill level.

I'd also like to reflect that my meager comment got five likes but still got downvoted. You're not alone in your thoughts, but that also just means lots of people look at this activity and think it's difficult when it's really not. o7

Skill issue is overused, but a broken clock is still right 2 times a day. If this activity is out of your skill range, that's okay. Raids, dungeons, gms, and trials are all the lowest played features of destiny, and yet, the game wouldn't be the same without them.

I would perhaps have agreed to have some skill issue if this post was about me dying all the time and can't complete it and that is why i thought it was a bad activity. But even then it might not be your fault. Let's say that every enemy would kill you in one hit and they all had tracking shots and splash damage attacks. Would it be a poor game design or a players lack of skill that is the reason to why you can't complete a run or if you are struggling with staying alive ?. People just throws around the word Skill issue because they think it is an hilarious joke.

Lol. Lmao even. Skill issue or not, everything you point out that's negative ends up tying itself to health Regen. Just stay topped off, retreat when necessary. Not just run into the fray. I say that last part, but I've ran Skullfort on my titan one run, and never died; on expert with just one additional friend. And the pale heart activities for blooming take way longer than these little ones in the nether. I'd argue the blooming is more worthwhile, but takes a little longer. But whatever man we probably won't find any common ground because Internet opinions are so set in stone. You're is better than mine. Mine is better than yours.

No they don't.
No they don't.
"Yeah great objectives in a mode without health regen." And with the two plate objectives you listed, this goes FOR EVERY OBJECTIVE.
-
Wow one point, that proves it all. Never mind the fact that i mention that the objectives are boring, the location is boring, it being an open zone with chests and resources and how it wastes time. Of course i am going to mention how poorly thought out the no health regen move is, with objectives like standing on a plate and also have ads spawn on you. It kind of make sense to bring that up.

I would ask if we're playing the same game. Tbh, I was worried about trying an expert run because I remember the year of lightfall and its dreadful difficulty increase, especially in the vexcaliber exotic legend version. I wasn't dying in 1 shot, even from tormentors, and both my builds did rather well. Maybe it's the mindset of the activity. You don't need to stand on those plates 24/7, you can step on, get progress and step off to deal with ads. If the activity had a timer, I think I would agree that it's too punishing. But when you can sit in the back taking pot shots or full healing on a Warlock, it removes alot of the difficulty that boons also remove. Build into those boons, they will raise your power from below standard to above standard gameplay to a large degree.

As with every season, some people will like it and others won't. That is just how it works. Just because i think that this is the worst seasonal activity, that doesn't mean that it is so. It is just my opinion. You can like this activity all you want, that is fine. I simply don't.

Not a joke its ego, peer validation.

Indeed.
