Iron Banana Weapon swap - lost all abilities
Lost all abilities swapping out a weapon, has to be a glitch, right?
It was not Comp and it was not armor.
Another lame attempt to prevent players from being OP.
Weapon swap is a must depending on game play of others and map.
Realized its not a glitch its the new IB , so shame on the devs for doing this

Did you do it via loadout?

Did you just swap a gun or the build? If you swap the build (I have the same build with different weapons) and the aspects or fragments aren’t exactly the same (even same position) you’ll lose abilities

3 RepliesEdited by AppleSoda: 7/4/2024 7:35:50 PMI didn’t know this applied to IB but there is a modifier in comp and Trials (Notswap) that punishes you for switching from special to primary and vice versa. Iirc, the in-game text for the modifier does not specify this addition to the functionality of Notswap. Personally I think this has no reason to exist as the special economy has reached a healthy middle ground where its existence is mostly unnecessary, and the cost of losing the ability to adapt and counterplay opponents is not worth the barely cheesy action of switching to a primary after losing special ammo. There are way cheesier things in the sandbox and while it does counteract some of the trade off of using a special weapon, that trade off doesn’t completely disappear.
