No reason to play dual destiny now
Why would I do a 30 min at minimum activity for 1 class item when I can farm chest/overthrow for class items AND other loot ? Big L for bungo

Intended rewards for intended gameplay, shouldn't be any freebies from bugs. No sympathy from me, who had to deal with the toxicity of this community for being disappointed this mission is incompatible with my disability. You can do the mission, you can open paleheart chests, do the content and get the intended reward.

This week: "The social people" refusing to run the mission because they're not getting the unintended two rewards at the end.

1 ReplyIt was originally intended like that and what ever people exploited a bug was intended to fix and that’s how it has been in this game. Bugs are never left as a permanent thing under normal circumstances.

2 Repliesdual destiny and this expansion was for the streamers and group players . bungie can't get it through there thick heads. that no matter how many activity's they make dual or group they need to design them for match making. until that day comes destiny will always be behind the times. none of these conversations would be a thing if they got off the goof ball stinky mechanics .

Just farm it on the Pale Heart after doing the mission. Save yourself from a migraine.

Oh, never forget.. If something is actually beneficial to the player base, Bungie will nuke it to hell and back. Without hesitation. It's just what they have ALWAYS done. I can even add to this topic a bit. I didn't play at all yesterday. This morning, I only did the latest quest for Echoes. That's ALL I've done this week. However, randomly I decided to check the Pale Heart for its challenges. Shockingly, Ghost doesn't have his for me now. It's just gone. Entirely gone. I cannot earn rep with him anymore to get a powerful drop. Other people still have it but it's gone for me. I bet it's missing for others, too. When will that get fixed? Eight months from now, I'm sure. Why? Because it's detrimental to myself and any other players affected by it. It slows any minimal progress we make on getting our Power higher. Bungie drags their feet on almost anything that harms the experience for players. They're just awful.

6 RepliesThe answer is so simple. Make the timer for the harder versions of things and take timers out of normal modes across the board. That way of you make the mission harder with more time constraints on a hard setting you could then maybe idk give more loot as reward? Bungie it's not that hard to figure out. Smh ...

6 RepliesThey honestly just botched the whole thing. The mission is great but the reward should have been the sword not the class item. You have a 1/64 chance of getting the combo you’re hunting for. And that is across 3 characters. The bug made it worth the time. Right now it’s faster to farm chests for it. If the reward was the sword then you’d still have to replay it multiple times but not as much since there are less meaningful combos. Something you need to grind a ton requiring so much coordination just gets obnoxious. Right now the most efficient way to obtain exotic class items isn’t to do the mission and that’s a problem. Grinding the mission needs to be worth it or people won’t do it

Because if you have bad luck like me, you can farm the aforementioned you said for four hours and not get one drop. 🥴 At least DD it’s guaranteed.

No reason just because it becomes available after you have unlocked it from that mission ? Getting one randomly from chests in the pale heart, i guess was the main way of farming for it after you got one. I guess that you didn't know that you could get it before the patch.

Class items only work for prismatic subclass to kinda lame imo got no reason to run the mission anymore

To be honest there really isn’t much incentive to grind anything in this game. What’s the point? The game feels too mechanic heavy and the power fantasy has pretty much vanished. You can’t over level content so is the point in grinding pinnacle activities simply to play GMs? For me this expansion is far from engaging. I’m still playing for the weekly episodic banter but that’s now done and next exact is 19 days away. Instead of being the “main game I play” Destiny is something I’ll play sparingly going fwd. So glad I never purchased the Deluxe Edition. The game doesn’t have any real replay appeal to me.

1 ReplyWhen I saw the following picture, I realized that my hunter, titan, and warlock had to complete this mission at least 100 times before I could have a chance to get the class item I wanted. This is really crazy. It is not easy to find a friend to join me to play the game for two hours , and now i have to find a friend to complete it 100 times with me.
