If you have separate powered and unpowered melee binds, when you use consecration and frenzied blade together on prismatic and run out of frenzied blade charges you will not be able to use your unpowered melee bind key during or shortly after sliding. There is something about the slide portion of consecration that is locking you out of using your unpowered melee bind when you have no melee charges.
