This sounds more like a Windows update issue. Sometimes Windows updates can cause issues because it eats up your systems power more than it really should. If not, it might be related to either your CPU overheating because of the demand from the game, or just a RAM issue. IF it's non of these, then I'd more than likely contribute it to Windows related things.

  • Hey there! I've updated my post last Tuesday with the solution I've found, it seems rather ridiculous but when you take into account that Bungie is constantly syncing 401 friends from Steam it starts to make a lick of sense. To indulge your post however I'd like to say my CPU is at a constant 58 - 63 degrees on average while playing Destiny 2. To say it is a "demanding" game is an enormous overstatement for modern hardware, the same goes for my RAM.
