I'm killing guardians with hand cannons and getting no progress.
wtf am i missing?
Issue is not on your end. Bungie incorrectly listed one objective as killing guardians in PvP. The actual second objective is kills inside raids or dungeons.
Since midnight coup is a raid weapon, its second objective is RaD related like succession. The second objective likely is from Luna’s howl, which is PvP related like Mountain Top.

Edited by iidaptive: 4/17/2024 9:25:03 PMI know you love Bungie with all your heart but Why would this quest not have a PVE related objective and a PvP related one as an alternate option like Bungie has stated they will do and as other weapon quests are ? I see Bungie stated what they did but I bet it was supposed to have a PvP option

Must hurt to be so wrong

You must believe everything Bungie says like the other one

Whatever you say kid 😂
I know you love Bungie with all your heart but this is simply untrue. Why would this quest not have a PVE related objective and a PvP related one as an alternate option like Bungie has stated they will do and as other weapon quests are ? You’re like in denial of what the quest says right there in text. So weird.
https://x.com/bungiehelp/status/1780322291911713270?s=46&t=33CY7NIx9ISdD5HsfKjzWw Quite literally mentioned by bungie how the text is incorrect. The raid and dungeon optional objective is related to the weapon being originally sourced from a raid. Also the reason why the same objective is on the succession bounty. All this information was already available in this thread. Please read before replying next time.

Thanks for info. why should i think idiot devs would do something right?
Thanks for info. why should i think idiot devs would do something right?
Mix ups like this are bound to happen when their release schedule is like it is. Wouldn’t say it’s appropriate to bash people for something like this.

These dev's make far too many mistakes and stupid decisions.
These dev's make far too many mistakes and stupid decisions.
Not really. Minor bugs like this are bound to happen when you are forced to get content out the door at a regular basis with no pauses in between. The amount of content in this free filler update is pretty impressive.
